The past few weeks have gone so fast I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted! I have been working hard at my job, and buying lots of things- I have a haul post planned for the weekend! It's a sad week this week because obviously I was supposed to be going skiing but after I was made redundant could no longer afford it, so have been missing my boyfriend and friends who did get to go
:(
Anyway sad point over, it is a new month which means I get to pick a new blogger of the month, and this month I choose Kim from Love Cloth! I only discovered Kims blog in the past few months and am so glad I did because I absolutely love her style. Kim shares my love of chelsea boots, collars and hats and her style is really simple and laid back, plus she always looks so happy and cheery! I've picked a few of my favourite of her outfits to show you and if you've never seen her blog before I would definitely recommend a look here!
The other thing I love about her blog is that she plays around a lot with her images and often layers her images with illustrations or text, which is something I would love to try. The layout of Love Cloth is also really simple and and minimal which reflects Kims style and her images are really beautiful and often shot is gorgeous locations. A lot of her outfits are sweet feminine dresses which she toughens up with boots, or 60's style items brought up to date with a hat or great pair of new shoes. Kim seems like she has amazing natural style and her outfits always seem really well pulled together - she has her style pinned down!
What do you think of Kims style? Is she a already one of your favourite bloggers, or one you've just discovered?

Striped Dress - Motel Rocks
Black Sweetheart Dress - ASOS
Off The Shoulder Dress - Motel Rocks
Western Shirt - Glamorous (via ASOS)
I thought I would do a little wish list because whenever January comes around there seems to be lots of things I like! I think it might be the whole new year, new start feeling and wanting to have a wardrobe mix up, but it's probably because I have a full time job now and for the first time in God knows how long I have some spare money! The striped dress from Motel is a new item and it just looks like one of those items that I will be able to chuck on with tights for work or dress up with boots and jewellery for an evening. The burgundy off the shoulder dress is also Motel, I have been looking for a dress in this colour and I absolutely love the off shoulder style so this could be a winner for me! The only thing that puts me off, is sometimes Motel dresses can be quite short and as i'm relatively tall i'm very self conscious of flashing more than I intend! I think a plain black dress is one of those essential items but I love this one because of the neck line! It puts a spin on the standard LBD and I think this will look good with my black biker jacket and a tartan scarf. Lastly the western shirt is something i've wanted since seeing Bobby from Primal Scream wearing one (maybe shouldn't take style tips from men!)
Lace Up Boots - Topshop Athena
Heeled Chelsea Boots - Topshop Alexy
Winter is a really hard time for foot wear and I seem to live in my Dr Martens or Chelsea Boots, so I am a bit cautious of spending too much money on something I might only wear for a few months. However I think both of these boots will see me through Summer as I can imagine them looking good with bare legs on an evening. I can imagine both of them looking really good with a dress, bare legs and frilly socks or with jeans and an over sized jumper.

Kitty Pumps- Boohoo (sold out :( )
Skull Pumps- Boohoo
Studded Loafers - Boohoo
Leopard Chelsea Boots - Topshop
I really wanted to do another outfit post this morning, but the weather is so miserable I don't really want to go out anywhere, so i'm just gonna stay in leggings and a huge comfortable jumper watching films. This weekend I went to Brisfest, I was really looking forward to it and had a great day on Saturday but annoyingly yesterday was an absolute storm and I didn't fancy standing outside for hours on end getting cold and wet! Instead I just went to Wagamamas and did a pub quiz with my friends before going to bed very early!
Today i've been going shoe mental, I keep thinking I need some good shoes for Winter however none of these shoes are sensible but they are very pretty! Mid way through making this post I realised that 3 out of 4 are from Boohoo, they have some great stuff at the moment and I ordered some Baroque leggings the other day which I can't wait to arrive! The Kitty and skull pumps are shoes I can definitely see myself wearing with black tights or jeans and as most of my shoes are black I think the beige spiked loafers would be a good addition to my wardrobe! As for the leopard chelsea boots, I wear my black ones all the time and have been very inspired by Alison Mosshart at the moment so these I can already see are going to be part of my A/W essentials!
