Today is quite frankly a shit day. Sorry for the abrupt start to this post but once again I have been made redundant!! Can you believe it? Being made redundant twice in three months has got to be some sort of record right? I was told the news yesterday and am not quite sure how I feel about it yet; on one hand its a push for me to go and do something that I actually want to spend my life doing but on the other hand it's scary to think I have 4 weeks to find something else or i'm going to be completely buggered!

On a more positive note look at this top I found on eBay for 99p! It's pretty much the same as the little lace crops they're doing in Topshop at the moment except it's slightly more grunge and a complete bargain! I've teamed it with my lovely new shoes from Office which cost me quite a lot of money (i've never spent £70 on shoes before!) As you might be able to tell i'm a complete bargain hunter and it took a good few weeks of searching eBay for some cheap copies, before I decided none quite fit the bill and I should just buy them! Do any of you guys have these shoes and love them as much as I do? Also if you have any ideas of anywhere I can apply for a part time job in Bristol, you know hook a sister up!

Necklace - Rock N Rose

Braclet - Topshop & Vintage
Lipstick - Barry M, Coral

It feels like it's been such a long time since, I did an outfit post! Usually my boyfriend takes my pictures but he was away for a week, back, then away again so I haven't had much chance to do any. In my new job I am lucky enough to be able to be given uniform, so for my first piece I picked this gorgeous black and white striped dress, i've wanted one for ages and have seen quite a few but loved the little black collar on this one. I can wear it on it's own like this or team it with a jumper so the collar can poke out the top! As you can see my blue hair is starting to fade, it's more of a pastel shade now which is nice but I am looking forward to having my silver hair back so I can start to wear all the blue things I seem to have bought lately (blue hair and blue clothes is not a good look for me!)

In other news I went to see Jessie Ware last week; she was incredible and came across so well, I would watch her again without a thought! This week i'm going to the Bradley Wiggins launch in the Bristol Fred Perry tomorrow night so will be sure to take my camera along! If you are a Fred Perry fan and live in a city with your own store then make sure you head down tomorrow night as it is an event thats happening across the country! Today marks the beginning of Bristol Fashion Week and I feel really lucky to be involved in a live blogging event which is happening during one of the shows, if you're a Bristol blogger whose also going then please get in touch as I am currently going alone and would love to meet up with someone for a drink while i'm there!

I also wanted to quickly say as i'm sure you're all aware GFC is going and i'm so sad that it means I might lose some of you as followers :( I have a bloglovin account which is going to be the best way to follow from now on so here is my link and if you currently follow on GFC please follow on bloglovin instead (that way you can continue to see my ever changing hair colour and general ranting!) I've heard that there is going to be a way you can import all of the blogs you follow on GFC into bloglovin so if anyone has any info on this please let me know, i'm gonna be gutted if I end up losing any of the blogs I follow!

Blue Rinse

As some of you may remember, back in October when I first started my blog I dyed my hair Lilac. I absolutely loved it but it went a bit patchy and didn't last that long, so last night I randomly decided I wanted to dye my hair blue. Inspired by 90s grunge Gwen, I bought a 'Crazy Colour' bottle in 'Bubblegum Blue' and went for it this afternoon. I can't recommend the 'Crazy Colour' range enough, they do a huge variety and several versions of each colour from bright royal blue right down to pastel bubblegum blue. There's no peroxide in the formula so it's safe to do by yourself and lasts roughly 4-6 washes- perfect! I absolutely love this colour, i've done purple and pink before but I think this might be my favourite so far :) I was going to do a little tutorial on how to use it but it is so easy I didn't think there was much point. All you do is wash your hair with shampoo, towel dry and then apply! There is a lot of dye in the bottle so you don't need to worry about your hair length, just apply evenly, leave on for 15-30 minutes and there you go! If you have bleached blonde hair like mine, it lasts about 2-3 weeks so is great for a big night out, or a festival because after a few washes your hair just fades back to normal.

As for my outfit today, it's pretty simple as i've had a day off; i'm wearing a vintage oversized white shirt and lace trimmed black cycle shorts with my black converse. I got involved with helping to promote a Bristol vintage fair on the weekend and bought 5 lovely items all for £45! I have planned a blog post to show you guys my purchases which I will post tomorrow. Hope you like my hair, let me know what you think...

Purple Rinse

T Shirt- Fred Perry
Belt- Urban Outfitters
Skirt- Topshop
Hair- Stargazer

I wasn't able to blog last week, which is a bit annoying, but I am back and with purple hair! I dyed my hair Friday nigh with a stargazer purple dye, I really like them and would definitely recommend it because the ingredients don't include any peroxide or ammonia so when you bleach your hair like I do it's good to not keep putting more bad things on it! It looks nice and I’m pleased but this is NOT a good picture! You know when you get in the shower and think my hair is fine then as soon as you get out you realise 'damn I should have washed it!' today was definitely one of those days all the batiste in the world could not have saved it! It has been a strange few days which saw me have to pay out lots of money for my car, then have a job interview then loose my phone then get Glastonbury tickets so very mixed! I'm gutted about my phone but looks like a wonderful friend is able to sell me theirs for practically pennies compared to how much iPhone 4's cost! As for Glastonbury I am super excited, I’ve been a few times already and love it, highlight of the summer but this time two of my very good friends are coming so it's going to be great to spend it with them!

I bought this belt last week from Urban Outfitters, it was a bit of a whim but I love it, as you know I love the studs, spikes, crosses soft goth trend and this is a great waistbelt which goes with everything. I wore it to the trial shift for my new job on the weekend and it received lots of compliments :)

Grease Lightening

Hat- New Look
Cardigan- Vintage
Shirt- H&M
Collar Chain- Ebay
Jeans - Urban Outfitters
Shoes- Topshop

This is what I wore today for a casual Sunday which involved lots of cleaning, visiting family and trying to sort out my car. My hair is an absolute state (as usual) so I hid it underneath this great hat which goes with everything and always manages to save me! I wore my favourite purple lipstick too and jazzed up my old black sheer shirt with my one of my new spiked collar accessories. I usually spend Sundays with friends, feeling a bit worse for wear but last night I decided to have a night in so this morning I felt unusually refreshed.

Last night was great and a bit of a change from my usual Saturday night going out drinking routine instead my boyfriend made butternut squash risotto and I made some cookies, a few friends came round and we watched Grease and J.Edgar. Grease is a film I used to watch all the time when I was younger and I haven't watched it since I was probably 10, but oh my god it is amazing! Favourite song has to be 'Sandra Dee', favourite character either Frenchie or Riz; Frenchie has the best hair but Riz is just too cool! Favourite outfit, Sandy at the end which I have decided I need to wear next time I go out and finally..Kenickie! Absolute babe and I was so sad to read on Wikipedia after that he died in the past few years!

After falling back in love with Grease I decided to make a outfit tribute to Sandy (hot Sandy at the end) and also decided it might be time to dye my hair pink again a la Frenchie!
